Lurline Bay House

Perched on the edge of a rocky outcrop and only metres above the Pacific the design and construction of this four storey ocean front home has greater similarities to a lighthouse than a typical suburban home. Rising out of the rock the reinforced concrete block foundations are clad in stone to withstand the elements. Thick concrete slabs and edge beams, silicone sealed glazing and a stainless steel roof ensure longevity. A feature stair glazed on three sides and cantilevering out over the rocks below offers a spectacular view of the ocean and coastline.
